But it didn’t take us long to realize that boating in the Alaskan Interior is not a year-round venture, and if we wanted to keep the business "afloat" we'd have to add a product that would sell in the winter. So that fall we signed on with Bombardier Recreational Products and took on the complete line of Ski-Doo snowmobiles, outdoor winter clothing, accessories and, of course, parts. After trying a couple different lines of accompanying trailers, and doing some extensive research, we started carrying the Floe line to complement sales, and have found them to be both affordable and reliable.

In April of 2000, we extended our summer line-up with Honda ATV's, and realized how dependable the Honda engines are. With the kind of terrain our customers go through to get that trophy bull, you’d better believe we appreciate all the reliability we can get. We've never regretted that decision, and as our loyal customer base has continued to grow steadily, we don't think you have, either.

Tanana Adventure Sports continued to grow steadily with the addition of Honda Power Equipment to our showroom, and we were pleased to find Honda generators and waterpumps performing for our customers with the same reliability as Honda ATV. Over the next few years, we went on add Honda Marine and Honda Motorcycles to our lineup, and in 2009 we started carrying Honda's new side-by-side, the Big Red. At last we can offer you the one-stop shopping you're looking for!

We have a fully certified technical service department for every product we sell and some pretty fast turn-around time for all general tune-ups, warranty issues, or anything else you might want to bring our way.

As the years have progressed, we have continued to build our business with reasonable prices, excellent service and customer loyalty. Today we own the gas station that first offered us space, and the old run-down shed we started out in has been replaced by a store large enough to house our showroom and shop, as well as our parts department. We also rent office space to a local contractor. We've streamlined our inventory and no longer carry boat hulls. But the caring, personalized service you've come to expect from us has not changed. When we make a mistake, we make it right. And we still offer you the same one-on-one attention we gave you when we were no more than a tiny boat shop.
